The Achilles Project

This recent addition to Boston’s Fort Point Channel is a multi-label clothing boutique which resides in a mixed-use space with its adjoining restaurant, Persephone.  The Achilles Project was opened almost one year ago by former real estate developer, Michael Krupp and local fashion veteran Shaka Ramsay.  Featuring brilliantly designed mobile racks, Achilles can be rearranged to accommodate varying needs: merchandise displays, art gallery, cocktail lounge, dance floor etc.  As we noted the presence of overhead TV monitors playing old noir films, we came to appreciate the skillful way that so many disparate parts could form a simple and accessible whole.
