V.O.D.
After driving through hundreds of miles of ranches and a curious overabundance of white SUVs and pickup trucks, we arrived at V.O.D. in Dallas. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by the owners, Jackie Bolin and Liz Thompson. Jackie came from a fashion journalism background at the Dallas Morning News, while Liz followed her heart by moving to Texas and to marry her dream cowboy.
We were immediately engulfed by the store’s amazing ambiance set by the abstracted landscape photography that hung on the store’s walls and the cute puppies scurrying around the floor. At V.O.D., both Jackie and Liz are responsible for the buying which is done mostly in Paris and in New York as well. The store also carries gorgeous vintage pieces which the ladies source in collaboration with a New York stylist.
