Johan Ku

By now, we are known to have talented designers on our roster that are known for their unique design sensibility, as our newest addition does. Born in Taipei in 1979, Johan Ku has had great success since he began his fashion career. He is specifically famous to create sculpture-like silhouettes and unique chunky knitwear. While he was studying for his MA in Fashion at Central Saint Martins, his “Emotional Sculpture” collection won him a Gen Art’s Design Vision Avant Garde award in New York in December 2009.
Yet again, we welcome a new designer that not only creates beautiful clothing, but essentially creates a piece of artwork for everyone to wear. Below are a few images from his runway looks.
